ERIK MADIGAN HECK
×

Study N.8 was originally commissioned as part of the Absorbed Tradition book project in the summer of 2014. The photograph depicts a figure adorned in Etro's Fall - Winter 2014 collection, with extravegant headpieces made by the Japanese hair-sculptor Tomi Kono. It is a perfect representation of Heck's relentless and overt referencing to the history of painting. This was originally exhibited in the Absorbed Tradition exhibition at Bosi Contemporary, in the lower east-side of New York City.
