No Photos Please is the latest extension of Nomenus Quarterly, the publication run by Erik Madigan Heck from 2006 until 2013. The first volume, entitled Pictures Not Content, was designed by Michael Aberman as a series of 28 off-set colour prints held together in a screen-printed plastic sleeve.

The name No Photos Please is taken as a subtle and humorous commentary on the current state of photography. We're told not to photograph artworks in museums, while we obsessively Instagram our every moment. The works in Volume One are photographs made using digital altercation, taken more into the realm of illustration than photography. The three series contained in this issue were made in collaboration with Thom Browne, Aganovich, and Comme des Garcons.
